Who we are
We're brothers who have worked hard at our jobs to save our money. We love the markets and love trading. But the truth is, like many people, we have spent thousands of hours trying to find the holy grail of indicators and signals to get rich quickly, but that was a fool's errand. We believe that swing trading delivers us more consistent returns with lower drawdowns than any scalping (day trading) strategy. We've created a Tradingview strategy that gives us an edge, delivering higher-than-market returns with limited downside risk for our funds, especially our retirement accounts.
We personally trade this strategy with our own money. While the S&P 500 averages 10% returns per year, it comes with 50% drawdowns almost every decade. We believe this is unacceptable. We aim to achieve annual gains of 20% while keeping potential losses no greater than 20%. Our trading approach is built on three core principles: 1- Avoid excessive trading, 2- Base decisions on thoroughly backtested results to prevent overfitting to any particular stock or index, 3- Embrace automation to remove the emotional impact of fear and greed. This disciplined methodology guides us in striving for superior financial performance.
